Privacy Policy

BaseCamp Compass is designed as a reflection and navigation tool. The goal is to help users think more clearly, make better decisions, and take constructive next steps.

Information We Collect

During pilot use, Compass may collect anonymous feedback and basic usage information needed to improve the service. Users should avoid entering unnecessary personal, medical, legal, financial, or highly sensitive information.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to improve the quality, safety, reliability, and usefulness of BaseCamp Compass. It is not intended to identify users.

AI Processing

User messages may be processed by an AI provider in order to generate a coaching response. Users remain responsible for the information they choose to share.

Conversation continuity

During the current Controlled Pilot, conversation continuity is stored in your browser. If you choose Keep, the conversation can be retained for up to seven days. The Coach also provides New conversation and Delete conversation controls.

Data Minimization

Compass follows the principle of minimum necessary information. Users are encouraged to describe situations and patterns rather than share names, addresses, identification numbers, or other personal details.

Feedback

Feedback submitted through Compass may be stored anonymously and reviewed to improve the pilot version.
